Job Objective
Develop, maintain and communicate the overall project plan and master schedule based on input from the project’s technical/commercial functions and contractors. As well as proactively monitor progress and changes, managing reviews with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the necessary project planning and scheduling procedures and support the PDP, PEP and/or other project documentation.
- Prepare and maintain updated overall project master schedule.
- Support the risk analyst in the preparation and updating of the Risk Register and other project records.
- Review the detailed schedule of project activities.
- Analyze contractor and project team schedules and produce project progress reports.
- Consolidate detailed contractor schedules into the master project schedule and identify critical path activities.
- Checking project reports.
- Participate in project progress and agreement meetings, keeping the planning team informed.
Requirements:
•Education:Preferably a degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or similar). Basic and/or advanced (preferred) course in project management.
• Experience:
- 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Industry.
- 10 years of experience in project planning.
•Languages: Advanced level of business English required (both verbal and written).
Knowledge:
• Knowledge of Organizational Processes: Project Management Process and Contracting Strategy.
• Knowledge in Development Program and Budget Preparation, Project Planning, Risk Analysis and Cost Control.
• Development of Project Management and Risk Management Methodologies and techniques.
• Handling of specialized software (reporting systems, SAP, etc.)
