Mexinol is expected to be the largest single ultra-low carbon methanol facility in the world – producing approximately 300,000 MT of green methanol from captured carbon and green hydrogen and 1.8 million MT of blue methanol per year from natural gas with carbon capture.

Strategic Location
The site is located on former agricultural land used for agricultural between Los Mochis and Topolobampo in Ahome, Sinaloa, Mexico. The pipeline to the port will be buried next to an existing gas pipeline to the Port of Topolobampo. An existing pier will be used to load vessels transporting methanol to the world.
