Ciudad de M\u00e9xico, M\u00e9xico: Transition Industries LLC, desarrolladora de proyectos de metanol y de hidr\u00f3geno verde con emisiones netas cero a escala mundial en Am\u00e9rica del Norte, llev\u00f3 a cabo un evento de firma de contrato de Ingenier\u00eda, Adquisiciones y Construcci\u00f3n (EPC, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) con el consorcio conformado por Samsung E&A Co., Ltd. (Samsung E&A), Grupo Samsung E&A M\u00e9xico, S.A. de C.V. y Techint Ingenier\u00eda y Construcci\u00f3n, para el proyecto Pac\u00edfico Mexinol ubicado en Ahome, Sinaloa, M\u00e9xico. El contrato est\u00e1 sujeto al cumplimiento de condiciones precedentes habituales y a la obtenci\u00f3n de todas las aprobaciones requeridas.<\/p>\n

La divisi\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica del grupo MAIRE, NextChem, a trav\u00e9s de su filial KT TECH SpA, tambi\u00e9n firm\u00f3 un Acuerdo de Ingenier\u00eda B\u00e1sica y Suministro de Equipos Cr\u00edticos y Propietarios con Samsung E&A, en relaci\u00f3n con el suministro de su tecnolog\u00eda patentada NX AdWinMethanol\u00aeZero para el proyecto.<\/p>\n

Transition Industries desarrolla de manera conjunta el proyecto Pac\u00edfico Mexinol con la Corporaci\u00f3n Financiera Internacional (IFC), miembro del Grupo del Banco Mundial. Cuando inicie operaciones en 2029, Pac\u00edfico Mexinol se consolidar\u00e1 como la planta de producci\u00f3n de qu\u00edmicos ultra bajo en carbono m\u00e1s grande del mundo, produciendo aproximadamente 350,000 toneladas m\u00e9tricas de metanol verde y 1.8 millones de toneladas m\u00e9tricas de metanol azul anualmente, a partir de captura de carbono y gas natural.<\/p>\n

\u201cLa ceremonia de firma de hoy representa un hito importante para el proyecto Pac\u00edfico Mexinol, ya que nos permite mostrar nuestra innovaci\u00f3n de clase mundial y asociaciones con Samsung E&A de Corea del Sur, Techint de M\u00e9xico y el Grupo Maire de Italia. Tambi\u00e9n nos encamina a iniciar obras en 2025 y a cumplir con nuestro compromiso inquebrantable de construir el proyecto sostenible a gran escala m\u00e1s importante del mundo en M\u00e9xico\u201d, afirm\u00f3 Rommel Gallo, CEO de Transition Industries.<\/p>\n

Al evento asistieron funcionarios de los gobiernos federal, estatal y municipal, as\u00ed como embajadores de los pa\u00edses involucrados en este proyecto multinacional.<\/p>\n

Tambi\u00e9n estuvo presente la IFC, junto con otros socios comerciales estrat\u00e9gicos que aportar\u00e1n elementos clave de tecnolog\u00eda e ingenier\u00eda de punta al proyecto, incluyendo hidr\u00f3geno verde y el programa de reciclaje y uso de aguas residuales industriales m\u00e1s grande del mundo.<\/p>\n

Transition Industries espera firmar acuerdos estrat\u00e9gicos adicionales y alcanzar hitos importantes durante este verano. Se prev\u00e9 que el proyecto se presente como un ejemplo de producci\u00f3n de qu\u00edmicos ultra bajo en carbono a gran escala en la COP 30 en Bel\u00e9m, Brasil, en noviembre de 2025.<\/p>\n
