For the past year, we have been progressing the Company’s strategic community investment programming, including support for the local Indigenous university to complete community opportunity assessments. the signing of local community development agreements, and partnership opportunities geared towards economic development, education and technology.
We commit to engaging with Indigenous People in a way that respects their history, culture, and customs. Working with academic institutions and local leaders ensures we are not just generating future jobs and opportunities, we are promoting social well-being, including with vulnerable groups.

Mexinol’s responsibility to sustainable resource management and its neighbors extends far beyond the ultra-low carbon production of methanol. The project has been engaging with local stakeholders for years, listening to local community members to understand their needs and concerns.
